Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for every package bought through reddotseo.com, whether a monthly retainer or a one-off project. It sits alongside our Terms of Service; where the two overlap, this page has the detail.

2. Monthly retainers

Retainers (Local SEO, Content, Link Building, International, E-commerce Growth, Google Ads management) run for an initial minimum term of 3 months, then continue monthly. You can cancel with 30 days' written notice to support@reddotseo.com, effective at the end of the following billing period. Months already billed, and work already delivered within a billing period, are not refunded — the fee covers the work carried out that month, not a result.

3. One-off projects

Audits, bilingual launches, and e-commerce foundation projects are billed 50% at order and 50% on delivery.

• Cancel before work starts — full refund of any amount paid, minus a €90 administrative fee to cover the time already spent scoping and scheduling the engagement.
• Cancel after work has started — you're billed pro-rata for the work completed, and we hand over whatever partial deliverable exists at that point (for example, the findings gathered so far on an audit).

4. Your 14-day right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you're buying as a consumer (not for a trade, business, or profession) and you order at a distance through our checkout, French consumer law (Article L221-18 of the Code de la consommation) gives you 14 days from your order to withdraw, without needing to give a reason.

If you ask us, expressly and in the engagement details you provide at checkout, to start work before those 14 days are up, you keep the right to withdraw during that period, but you'll be billed for the work we've actually carried out up to the moment you tell us you're withdrawing (Article L221-25 of the Code de la consommation) — not for the full package price. Once a one-off deliverable is fully performed and delivered with your express prior agreement, the withdrawal right no longer applies. This right does not apply to purchases made as a business.

5. What's never refunded

• Google Ads spend, once it's been paid to Google directly — that's between you and Google, not us.
• Work already carried out within a billed retainer month, or already completed on a one-off project, regardless of the outcome — we don't offer refunds based on ranking or traffic results, because no agency can ethically guarantee either (see our Terms of Service, §8).
• The €90 administrative fee on a pre-start cancellation of a one-off project.

6. Rescheduling a call

A scheduled kickoff or debrief call can be moved free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Email support@reddotseo.com or reply to your consultant directly.

7. How refunds are processed

Where a refund is due under §2, §3, or §4, we process it to the original payment method within 14 days of confirming the amount owed. You'll get a written confirmation by email once it's sent.

8. How to request a refund or cancellation

Email support@reddotseo.com with your order reference and what you'd like to change. We confirm receipt within 1 business day and tell you exactly what happens next, including the amount (if any) you'll be billed or refunded.

9. Disputes

If we can't resolve something directly, the consumer mediation and Online Dispute Resolution routes described in our Terms of Service (§15) apply, followed, where necessary, by the courts of Montpellier.
